Corner auto repair shop, 1:64 scale

3 mm MDF · no glue · 11 cars · garage with rooftop parking · production version · 324 × 149 × 246 mm

Assembly checked · ready to cut

A corner auto repair shop for 1:64 collectible cars: the ground floor is three open bays with a two-post lift, a workbench and a tool board; the rooftop is parking for 6 cars, and 2 more fit on the engraved street. It is laser cut from one sheet of 3 mm MDF and goes together without glue: everything fits with tabs. The DXF layer names are in Spanish: CORTE means cut, GRABADO means engrave, and HOJA_NO_CORTAR is the sheet outline, not to be cut.

Cut sheets

The second sheet fits both dioramas together on a single 1220 × 1220 mm sheet. 3 mm spacing between parts and an 8 mm margin; no part sits inside another part's window. The DXF files already compensate for a 0.10 mm kerf: the machine must cut without compensation. CORTE (cut) layer in red and GRABADO (engrave) in blue.

Assembly

  1. Set the back wall on the base and insert the left wall.
  2. Ground floor: lift (posts, arms and beam), workbench with its board, and the two cross columns.
  3. Fit the sign beam into the left wall.
  4. Lower the rooftop onto the walls, the columns and the beam.
  5. Fit the rooftop railing.
  6. Close with the right wall, which takes the rooftop, beam, railing, base and back wall.

What changed in this version

  • No mezzanine or stairs: the ground floor is three open bays and the rooftop is parking for 6 cars.
  • The street is engraved on the base: curb, lane, crosswalk and arrow. 2 more cars fit outside.
  • The sign is engraved on the front beam and on a billboard that is part of the back wall.
  • No acrylic or paint: all the detail is cut and engraving.
